Can I convert JSON to CSV?

Use the Table view to browse an array of objects as rows and columns. For a CSV file, open the JSON to CSV tool, which has delimiter, flattening and Excel options.

What happens if my JSON is invalid?

The status bar names the problem and shows its line and column, the editor underlines the spot, and clicking the message jumps the cursor there. If the problem is relaxed syntax such as comments or trailing commas, a Repair button fixes it.

Does the tree view let me collapse and expand nested objects?

Yes. Click any arrow, or use Expand all, Collapse all and the Depth selector. You can also search keys and values, step through matches, and copy any path or value.

Can it sort object keys alphabetically?

Yes. Tick Sort keys and Format or the Formatted view orders every object's keys A to Z, at every level.

Does it support JSON with comments or trailing commas?

The validator follows strict JSON, so it flags them — but one click on Repair removes comments and trailing commas, quotes bare property names, turns single quotes into double quotes and fixes Python-style True, False and None.

What's the difference between beautify and minify here?

Format (beautify) adds indentation and line breaks for readability; Minify strips all unnecessary whitespace. Both keep very large numbers such as 12345678901234567890 exactly as written.

Can I query the data with JSONPath?

Yes. Open the Query tab and enter an expression such as $.users[*].name, $..price or $.items[-1] to list every match with its path.
